Steps to Convert Lotus Notes to Outlook PST file with SysTools Export Notes Software

How It Works :

Step 1. Browse the Lotus Notes .nsf file

» Open SysTools Export Notes . Go to Start menu » Programs » SysTools Export Notes » SysTools Export Notes. Software will display the following screen:

  • Click the Browse button to select the Lotus Notes .nsf file

» After clicking the Browse button following screen appears :

» Select the .nsf File and Click on Open button and then software shows following screen:

Step 2. Scan Lotus Notes NSF file

This is the software second step to Scan Lotus Notes NSF file and this will help users to know How to scan Lotus Notes NSF Database or file?

  • After selecting Lotus Notes Database, software will display screen below:

» After then click on Start Scan button to start the scanning process of selected Notes NSF file as show in the screen below:

» Then software will show the scanning process of your Lotus Notes database/file in the following screen.

» As soon as the scanning completes software will prompt following alert box:

Step 3. Preview Lotus Notes .nsf file items

  • After complete scanning process the Lotus Notes .nsf file, software will show all items such as emails, calendar, journals, to do list or address book (if names.nsf file has been selected for scanning.) in its specific tabs as in the screen below:


    • A. View Lotus Notes emails click on the Mail tab as shown below:

    B. View Calendars, click on Calendar tab as shown below:

    C. View To do List, click on To Do List tab as shown below:

    D. View Lotus Notes Journals, click on Personal Journal tab as shown below:

  • After that go to Export Tab for further

Step 4. Convert NSF to Outlook .pst file

Migrate Lotus Notes NSF file to PST file with SysTools Export Notes utility

  • Export tab contains the list of items to be exported to MS Outlook PST file as shown in the screen below:

  • Here is the software features to Select or Deselect the notes database items that you wants to convert NSF to PST accordingly and Choose Outlook Format. i.e. Outlook 2000/2002/XP (Ansi Format ) & Outlook 2003/2007 (Unicode Format).

  • After select or deselect the Notes database items according to users requirements click on Start Conversion button as shown below:

» Now choose the location where you want to save the New MS Outlook .pst file from the following box:

» Select folder or drive and Click on OK button. Then Software will display following:

» Click on Export to Outlook button to proceed Lotus Notes Migration process as shown below:

  • After exporting Lotus Notes Database NSF File to Microsoft Outlook PST file the software will display you the saving location of PST File with its migration date and time as shown below:
